BlueWater - 5 mm Titan Cord w/ Dyneema

BlueWater's 5 mm Titan Cord is manufactured from Dyneema high performance fiber and nylon. This combination of high strength, low elongation and light weight provides superior characteristics over other combinations. Dyneema does not lose significant strength with repetitive flexing and offers a huge increase in abrasion and cut resistance over other materials. BW Titan cord can be cut and sealed with a hot knife. BlueWater recommends a triple fisherman's knot for tying Titan into loops.
Sold by the foot in various colors.
Please note the actual diameter is 5.5mm but the EN Standard for accessory cords does not allow reporting diameters in 0.5mm increments.

If I order 40 ft of this product, is it supplied in a single, uncut length? I ask, because many sites offer this product in precut lengths of 6ft - which would not be suitable for me...

Is this product appropriate and the best option, in terms of maximal strength and durability, for stringing old-style trad Hexes/Bongs? Is there a better/recommended alternative cord to use? In years gone by we used straight up spectra and gemini cord. Looking at a steep trad climb where the old stuff will fit best on the crag . . . .
