- Hearty chili with a bit of spice and a lot of flavor
- I like this specific chili the best after trying other commercially available freeze dried chilis. A comment on rehydration times of this meal however. I've found that above 8500 ft I pour in the boiling water, seal it up, put it in my thermal cozy and give it at least 30 min before eating. Otherwise the beans are still dry. Once everything is rehydrated the beef and beans and spiced taste great. To me, it's a moderately pricey lunch or dinner option so I don't have it more than once on a trip. For a medium sized adult male, I've found that the meal offers one serving and not two satisfying servings as listed on the package.
