- Nice bag!
I was looking for a smaller rope bag that could still hold most of my gear, and this bag has been perfect so far. It's small, but it has enough room for what I usually pack for a day of climbing: 60m rope, 10 quickdraws, several slings, and some carabiners. I can also put my harness in there, but that starts to get a little crowded. The whole bag feels solidly built, but only time will tell how durable it really is.
I especially like the dual straps, since you can adjust them for use as a backpack or as long shoulder straps. As a backpack the bag isn't super comfy, but it's alright for short (10-15 min) hikes.
The tarp is nice and big. I can have the rope splayed out and still have room to stand on it once I'm wearing my climbing shoes.
The outside pocket is big enough to fit keys, a phone, and maybe some snacks, but not big enough for a guide book or water bottles.
- This thing rocks
- This is the best rope bag I've used. Its based on the common and familiar design, but its better thought out (and better priced) than the others like it. Highly recommended.
